Cervical Cancer Linkage With Sexual Couples

Did you know that there is a link between cervical cancer with the number of sexual partners a person has?

The cause of cervical cancer is human papillomavirus, or HPV. Because HPV (viral infection) can cause cervical cancer, you put yourself at high risk for getting HPV (such as having multiple sexual partners) may also increase the risk for cervical cancer.

On the other hand, have fewer sexual partners means you have a smaller chance to get contamination with people who have HPV (or other infections). This is why having many sexual partners is a risk factor not only HPV but also other sexually transmitted diseases, including HIV.

www.sexxie.tv invite you attend an online seminar SEXXIE TALK to the topic, "Relation Between Cervical Cancer and Total Sexual Couples (The Relationship Between Cervical Cancer and Multiple Sex Partners)", Thursday, August 26, 2010, at 14:00 to 15:00 pm, with Dr Christopher Chong, Consultant Obstetrician, Gynaecology and Uroginekolo, Chairman Chris Chong Women & Urogynae Center, Singapore. Dr Chong is also a pioneer of incontinence prolapse of pelvic reconstructive surgery in Singapore to sit as a panel of specialists for various publications in the country.
